Reporting bugs

How to report
Stand where the problem is and type:
!bug <what is wrong>
Your position and the id of the ground and everything lying on your tile are attached automatically. That attachment is the important part. A report saying something is broken near the dragons cannot be checked; the same report with a tile and a position can be looked up directly in the map file.
Between 10 and 500 characters, and one report every 5 minutes per character.
!bug list shows your last five reports with their status and your reputation.
What happens next
Every report is read and verified, and gets one of four answers:
New - not looked at yet.
Confirmed - the bug is real and reproducible, fix pending.
Fixed - repaired. Worth 10 reputation points.
Rejected - not a bug, with an explanation of why. Rejected reports cost you nothing.
The verdict is written out in full on Bug Reports, including what actually caused the problem. A rejection is not a brush-off - if the lava in a cave turns out to be map design rather than corruption, you will find that written there.
Reputation
Your reputation is the sum of the rewards from your fixed reports. Reporting something that turns out to be real and gets repaired is the only way to earn it.
